| 1 | Because of giving alliances to the Quraish. |
| 2 | (We) gave them alliances during both their travels of winter and summer. |
| 3 | So they must worship the Lord of this House. (The Ka’aba) |
| 4 | The One Who gave them food in hunger, and bestowed them safety from a great fear. |
